JCS has had plenty of time to review the document they provided to HASC, and my analysis of the document is forthcoming. That JCS holds “We don’t necessarily refute what is in the document itself…” is tantamount endorsement. It may have come from CENTCOM.

Yon: I published a letter received from Congressman Todd Akin’s office. Akin is on the House Armed Services Committee and his office says HASC got it from the Joint Chiefs of Staff. After I published the letter, a JCS Public Affairs Officer said JCS didn’t author it.
