CNN’s John King to Replace Dobbs

I’m delighted to share with you the exciting news about our plans for the 7p.m. hour. After the successful launch of the State of the Union earlier this year, it became clear to us that John King is one of the most impressive anchors in the business and we want to expose our viewers to him more across the week. We have asked John to join our weekday lineup and beginning with the new year he will anchor a new political show at 7pm. John embodies what we are striving for at CNN – he is steadfast in his objective and non-partisan political reporting and has the passion for chasing down stories that really matter to Americans.

In the interim, we will air “CNN TONIGHT,” a nightly newscast at 7pm led by a rotating roster of anchors.

You are the only one we watch on that other network so now we can just block it like we have blocked NBC and MSNBC home of kieth olbermann, chris matthews and madoooow. I might add there is nothing with a GE logo in my humble abode. The Citizens Not for News network just lost eight one hour a day viewers and with all the others lost that should push their ratings on down with the whale feces, just above MSNBC.
	Eric B November 13th, 2009 at 5:20 am Don, you’re wrong! Ha! That’s just an opinion. But in our case, we’ll gladly watch more of CNN now. For being an “Indy”, we didn’t see much anti-Republican comments from Lou and he’s had several years worth of Bush to make fun of. While I don’t agree with everything the Dems are doing, we just want someone to not bash everyone and actually offer solutions. Dobbs and the Republicans seem Hell bent to bash the Dems without offering solutions. Dumping Dobbs is a step in the right direction. If Dobbs is truely an Indy, I hope he will have an opportunity to help this country and not simply bash one party.

If it were up to CNN and the rest of that crowd we would still be waiting for the truth about SEIU intimidation at the polls and ACORN’s subversion of the political process. Speaking of bashing one party we got 8 years of MSNBC and their twisted view. We watched and there was no, zero, not one thing ever said on a positive note in past 8 years, just a constant stream of bashing. Keep watching your favorite news outlets their ratings speak for them, you are watching mostly in an empty room. I don’t agree with a lot the Republicans are doing either but I will take them over the socialist agenda of the Dems; it is a clear choice and I don’t want to go down the road of European socialism, I lived in Europe for three years, while everything looks greener on the other side, once you get there is no turning back. I will take the USA as it has been for over 230 years with all its flaws over some fundamentally changed system as stated by high officials. I am sure you don’t want to hear that but that is the way it is.

Yes, I agree that we have problems on our borders, and I wish I had all the solutions as Dobbs pretended to have. I suggest that Homeland Security hire Lou to do a thorough in depth study of the Border Security Problem when he learns to speak Spanish (OOPS! Perhaps Lou already speaks Spanish.)
