I was advised to tune in tonight (Wednesday) for what would be Lou’s very last show on CNN. I was told that Dobbs would announce he’s leaving, effective immediately. That rumor turned out to be true. And it looks as though he was fired by CNN’s Jon Klein, reading between the lines of Dobbs’ on-air goodbye.

I love Lou Dobbs. Why is he leaving? | |
Lou is as close to a real-life Howard Beale as we have in US broadcast journalism.. it seems to me control factors and other liabilities finally eclipsed his usefulness to CNN. | |
Because he says it like it is, you can be sure neither CBS or NBC will hire him. He might upset someone. | |

He was the only person at CNN who was credible, now that he is gone there’s absolutely no reason to watch the CommunistNewsNetwork. Their ratings are in the tank anyway and now they’re going to go down even more. I’m sure that the Fox Business Channel will grab him. | |

I used to watch Lou Dobbs faithfully every night. Then something happened to him, he got so full of himself that he was unbearable. I didn’t vote for Lou, nor did anyone else, yet he was the self proclaimed expert on how we should run our government. Now he is no longer watched in my house. Life is too short to have to listen to babble and rhetoric when there are better alternatives and real news. | |

If it were up to CNN and the rest of that crowd we would still be waiting for the truth about SEIU intimidation at the polls and ACORN’s subversion of the political process. We got 8 years of MSNBC and their twisted view from Chris, Keith and Madooow. There was none, zero, not one thing ever said on a positive note in past 8 years, just a constant stream of bashing. To all the brain washed sheep; keep watching your favorite news outlets, their ratings speak volumes, you are watching mostly in an empty room. I don’t agree with a lot the Republicans are doing either but I will take them over the socialist agenda of the Dems; it is a clear choice and I don’t want to go down the road of European socialism. Well, let’s see. If I had to guess I would guess that Bertha Lewis of Acorn would be the next Cnn host for Lou’s hour. Right down Cnn’s alley don’t you think? They are pitiful. |
