C-I-S is our last ditch effort to make this incursion work. If O’Bama gives him the resources the General will make it work. If not he will do his best with limited resources. Pure unmitigated Bull Puppy!

This is no more than an attempt at a selfish justification for a lack of integrity from a member of the self aggrandizing group who unjustifiably call themselves journalists.

I hate leaks and those who leak. Especially any military officer, one who took an oath to act in the best interests of his country, his service and his chain of command.

This article is nothing more than a dishonest and pathetic attempt to justify and excuse illegal, unethical, disloyal and unpatriotic behavior. More of that ridiculous rationale upon which the cowardly left has built their domain: the ends justify the means.

I know better. Loyalty, integrity, professionalism, ethics, personal responsibility and accountability are the standards to which these government personnel should be concerned with. For military officers there is not only no excuse, there is no forgiveness.

Any employee or sworn government official proven to leak classified information should be prosecuted, fired and bared from working for the federal government for life.

Any military officer leaking classified information and any military officer suggesting or ordering any other employee, sworn official or military officer to leak classified information, should be courts martialed.

And all should have their security clearances permanently revoked. These government personnel and military officers aren’t getting paid to cover their 6 o’clock, worry about their career progression light going out, play politics with classified information, justify their existence, build empires or any other cowardly excuse for dishonest, disloyal conduct.

There is NO justification. None. Ever.

Jamie has produced an excellent analysis–when he writes his book I hope he includes it. During my years as a military analyst for CNN (1991 to 1998) I had many friends who were still on active duty in the military who would give me useful information. Some of which I used and some I did not. They felt it was important to keep me well informed so when there was an event I would have the background information that would make my commentary accurate and credible. The best example of a leak that I can remember is when a senior officer in the Pentagon called me and told me to go to Atlanta. I did so and a few hours later there was an attack on Iraq. This was a leak but it was helpful to him to me and to CNN for it made immediate commentary possible and it reduced the amount of speculation that might have taken place. In sum, I saw my role as a analyst to inform, to educate and to put events in context. Leaks were helpful on occasion but in my experience not all that often. Perry Smith

Sometimes it's the pentagon it;s self that tall the dam enemy what were doing. When they changed to stand and fight, concerning convoy tactics. They told the whole world. Thats how i got hit tha last time. They seem to think Tally and Ally do'nt have CNN.What they did was put 1or2 guys along the road to fire acouple of shots at us so the convoy stops and then they had a suicide bomber drive into our convoy. As a result i am now on Incap awaiting an MEB. Thanks pentagon for ending 30 years of service.And to hell i have to go through just to get what is promised to every soldier. When you enter the VA, you will see two signs. One says the price of freedom is seen here.The other one says we keep the promise{refering to the LINCOLN PROMISE}, That one is a lie.!!If it were ture, i would'nt need a lawyer and a DVA rep to get what the LINCOLN PROMISE says i'm supoese to get. And my INCAP pay would'nt be 2 to 5 months behind. When i came home from my last tour i had 30 grand in the bank. I had property and other asitts. Now it's all gone and i'm bankrupt. I've got a nice Govner though. He responds To my reqeusts for help by sending me a nice letter thanking me for my concerns.

All this collective BS about people “leaking” sensitive information to the general public as well as to our enemies should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. This is criminal and should be treated as such ! This type of behavior endangers the lives of our Military on the battlefield and can get people killed.
